NEW PROJECT: MASTITOMIC!

MASTITOMIC HAS STARTED!

MASTITOMIC is our new project in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna. In this project we aim to study the evolution of the mammary microbiome and its interaction with the host in healthy and infected animals. We will investigate how the microbiome and genetic and environmental factors influence the development of disease, with the aim of discovering early indicators of mastitis, contributing to more effective prevention strategies and reducing antibiotic dependency in the dairy sector.
